Fitted throughout with dramatic Italian lighting, tribal rugs; which theme each room and artwork. The Lodge has that "special" ambience which is its own. The Lodge is set in a working vineyard planted in pinot noir and riesling. Constructed of exposed river shingle aggregate, with a copper roof. It has been designed to reflect the changing colours, the moods, and the light of the Central Otago landscape.
Birdlife abounds in the surrounds and the celestial viewing at night from the upper decks is magical.

The lodge offers guests a luxury complex for their exclusive use. All our rooms have spectacular views of the mountains with a vista from the Cardrona valley in the South to Mt Maude to the North. Black peak and Mt Avalanche dominate the Western view.
The surrounds have been planted for sense and smell with organic herbs, olives and nut trees. Take the time out, away from the stresses and pressures of everyday life to come and share with us the awe inspiring scenery, delicious food and fine wines.

The entrance way is through the courtyard to the atrium, which is at the centre of the Lodge. We have a large dining area, with an open wood fire. Guests can gather and relax with a glass of our own wine before dinner, or during summer enjoy an al-fresco meal through the adjoining French doors in the outside courtyard.
Inside the curved staircase leads to a large upstairs lounge with comfortable leather furniture where you can relax and watch TV, videos, DVD or listen to music. The library in the adjoining room has an extensive collection of books for guest use and an ambiance of its own. Both areas lead out onto a large deck where guests can relax in summer and star gaze at night in any season. Climb the ladder in the tower and enjoy the spectacular views.

Suite features include:
- The lodge has five super king size (split twin) guest suites all with en suites.

The Coriander Suite (Executive/Honeymoon)
- Magnificent views to the North and West from two balconies. The ensuite has glass brick shower, claw foot bath, toilet bidet, Italian terrazzo vanity and Italian glass basin
The Lavender and Rosemary suites:
- Views to the North looking across the vineyard from the balcony. The en suite has a shower and shub, toilet, Italian terrazzo vanity and Italian glass basin.
The Sage and Thyme Suites
- On the ground floor
- Views to the North. Looking across the vineyard, with French doors leading into the courtyard. Ensuite with shower, toilet, Italian terrazzo vanity and Italian glass basin.
