ART EXHIBITION OF SHARON ALDERSON'S LATEST WORKS.

Sharon's latest works is a series entitled "Works on Paper-Southern Scenes."

Sharon while traveling the world has collected a variety of hand made papers which are the background of her latest works. The idea being they can be rolled up and taken away with the buyer.

Using a medium she has used in the past in print making, each work is individual using water soluble carandache crayons in a water colour technique and drawing. Each paper absorbs the medium in a different way making each piece unique. The paper becomes part of the art work. 

Surrounded by the brilliant colours of the mountain vista outside with it's ever changing colours has been the inspiration behind her work.

There are now four ski areas Cardrona, (New high speed lift) giving even greater terrain access, totally set up to make all the family members think they are experts.

Treble Cone, Wairau Ski touring and Snow Farm Snowboarders paradise, half pipes, rails, the works. Treble Cone has its new lift to Tims plateaux opening up a major new ski area in the basin. 

Ski fields open at the end of June with good snow until October.

Heli Transfer and lift pass combination to Cardrona, Treble Cone and Snow Park available from the lodge.

Heli-skiing and boarding with 3- 8 day runs available with Alpine Helicopters. We will design a package to suit your abilities.

Fly with the best helicopter pilots in NZ in a tailor made package for you or your group. Hunting, fly-fishing, hiking, sight seeing and alpine picnic . Fly to the West Coast where your guide will dive for crayfish which will be cooked on your return to the lodge. Pick up and drop off from the front of the lodge.
